Procedure for admission in ATI
Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Peshawar is the sole public sector organization under the administrative control of Provincial Agriculture Department and is a part of the Agriculture Extension Wing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It offers three years' diploma courses in the disciplines of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Sciences with the nomenclature of DAS and DVS respectively. Limited number of students is enrolled each year as per following details / quota. Free hostel accommodation at the ATI Campus Hostel is also given to the students of far flung districts as per capacity of the hostel.

In case no applications are received in a category, the seats are filled up on open merit basis.
Each year when all the boards of intermediate and secondary education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa announce the matric results (usually from late June to late July) ATI invites applications for admissions in DAS and DVS through advertisement in leading newspapers. Prospectus along with admission form can be obtained from the office on cash payment of Rs. 300/- on any working day till notified closing date. Preliminary merit lists (District-wise and category-wise) are notified on the notice board of the institute a couple of days before the interviews which can be checked by the candidates. The interview dates are also given in the advertisement and no separate call letters are issued for the same. Following is the basic eligibility for the candidates besides merit / quota.
